Here is an article written by one of my colleagues that will be published in Coral Springs City News. It is about two aspiring and inspired models that Marc Gagnon has begun working with.

Alyssa Agovino and Aelson Cacique Models Working with Marc Gagnon
By Ellen Rogers

Local Photographic Artist Marc Gagnon has recently begun working with models Alyssa Agovino, local resident of Coral Springs and Aelson Cacique, NJ resident, who is seen in South Florida on a regular basis.  Alyssa Agovino has been modeling for the past 7 years and recently signed on as one of Marc Gagnon’s talent. Alyssa recently finished a collage to commemorate the American Troops called The Wounded Warrior collage. Alyssa supports the efforts of our volunteer army. Gagnon plans on getting involved with a charity assisting families of our troops, much as he did back seven years ago at the Coral Springs Museum of Art.  Gagnon was interviewed on NBC News for this event. Ms. Agovino is also a local business owner and recently opened up a tax service in Hialeah, Florida. Alyssa also finished an art collage with Aelson Cacique on a Sleepy Hollow collage.  The Sleepy Hollow collage is based on the story written by George Washington Irving. Gagnon hopes to finish a number of art collages featuring both Alyssa Agovino and Aelson Cacique and then will package them and market them to top agencies in the NYC metropolitan area.  Currently Alyssa Agovino is with the Las Olas Model agency, a local Fort Lauderdale agency set up by Marc Gagnon and VP Jeffrey Mariner out of City National Bank.

Alyssa has been seen in Burn Notice which was created by Matt Nix and appears on the USA Network,  as well as commercials on TBS. Aelson Cacique has been in the business for years. Aelson Cacique owns Fleurs Dumois which is an event planning business out of the New Jersey area adjacent to New York City. Aelson has worked on a number of films including The Burning Blue, Tower Heist, The City of God, and has theatrical experience in The Politican and The Circus. Mr. Cacique has also worked through The Gap and has appeared in The Smash, a made for TV Movie on NBC.

Aelson Cacique was also selected with Elina Sol on the Ponce de Leon collage shown in the article. Elina Sol is another talent of Marc Gagnon and she has been featured on covers of magazines from Delray Beach to Coral Springs. Elina has appeared on a number of Gagnon’s collages which are currently being marketed to a number of national publications. The piece is being marketed to the Tourism Divison of the State of Florida. Most of the footage taken for the collage was taken in the City of St. Augustine which is where Ponce de Leon landed. Marc Gagnon is incidently a member of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce through his corporation The Gagnon Art Foundation.

The Duel by Marc Gagnon

The Duel by Marc Gagnon
by Michael Resnik

You never know how one action can lead to another. Marc Gagnon visited Philadelphia on numerous times while living in New England which actually he has a place now in his home town of Nashua, NH. Marc made a specific journey to visit the Constitutional Building where the Continental Congress met. He also visited the other historic sites of Philadelphia. An older afroamerican gentleman approached Gagnon on his visit while in the building asking him if he wanted to see the sites that were not on the tour. The gentleman, was about to retire and noticed Gagnon's camera. The pictures you see on many of Gagnon's American Revolution collages were taken on this particular trip. Gagnon returned to NH on a different route. Actually Gagnon was lost and ended up in Weehawken, NJ. Gagnon stopped into a Exxon gas station to fill up his car. He found out by the gas station attendant that a particular reenactment was being played out that day. It was the event when Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr fought in a duel for honor. Gagnon, some 20 years later created a collage of that event. It is below.
